Labima is
a Belgian private pharmaceutical laboratory, located in the region of Brussels
(Belgium).
Labima is
developing, producing and distributing pharmaceutical and para- pharmaceutical products on the Belgian and the international market. Labima is also active in the GMP Services for Logistic of products in Clinical Trials Phases (I to IV).
Created in 1952,
Labima is managed by Jacqueline Siméons, industry pharmacist and member of the UPIP (
Professional
Union of Industrial Pharmacist) and the BRASS (
Belgian
Regulatory Affairs Society).
Labima is
an active member of different sections of
Pharma.be (Belgian professional association of the pharmaceutical industry) and of
Fedichem
(Belgian association of chemical manufacturers) and founding member of
EUROPHARM
SMC .
Labima has signed the Responsible Care chart.
Labima is also one of the founding member of
EUROPHARM SMC (European association of Small and Medium pharmaceutical companies) and active member of the
Aresa Clinical Trial Cluster.
The current production unit, constructed in 1995 and expanded in 2005, has a total surface of about 2000 m² of which the largest part is allocated to the production and the storage .
